Tool purpose
Tools are provided as-is and may not support every browser, image format, color profile, or extreme dimension. TIFF decoding uses only the first IFD/page, and some compression methods or damaged files may fail.
Local AI limitations
Background removal uses U2NetP and super-resolution uses Real-ESRGAN general x4v3. Models run in a Web Worker through WebGPU or WASM, with a labeled fast local fallback after failure. AI can misclassify edges or create texture artifacts and must not be treated as recovered factual detail.
Local storage
Public ONNX models are cached in IndexedDB only after size and SHA-256 verification. User images and results are never written to that cache; it is not a backup and can be cleared at any time.
Keep originals
Keep original copies of important images and inspect outputs before sharing, printing, or formal use. Metadata cleaning, cropping, and screenshot annotation create new flattened files.
Lawful use
Only process images you have the right to use. Do not use the tools to infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights.
Feature changes
Format support, size limits, and algorithms may change to improve safety, compatibility, and browser memory use.
