GUIDE & TECHNICAL NOTES
How to use Image Converter
Convert images to JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF when the browser supports it.
- 01Choose the source image.
- 02Select output format, quality, and transparency background.
- 03Preview and download the converted image.
Choosing JPG, PNG, or WebP
JPG suits photos but has no transparency. PNG preserves transparent and sharp graphic edges. WebP often balances file size, transparency, and quality. AVIF export depends on the browser.
Animation, TIFF, and compatibility
GIF exports its first frame only. UTIF decodes the first TIFF IFD/page after the tool validates file size, dimensions, pixels, and estimated memory before decompression. A TIFF using an unsupported compression still produces a clear file error.
