GUIDE & TECHNICAL NOTES
How to use Image Resizer
Resize by pixels or percentage with an optional aspect-ratio lock.
- 01Choose an image and review its original dimensions.
- 02Enter width and height or a scale percentage.
- 03Choose a format, resize, and download.
Preventing distortion
With aspect lock enabled, changing width or height calculates the other side automatically. Turn it off only for a fixed slot where stretching is acceptable.
Downscaling versus upscaling
Downscaling often reduces file size. Normal interpolation can smooth existing pixels when enlarging but cannot recover real detail; use the Upscaler for staged enlargement.
Frequently asked questions
Can I enter width only?
Yes. With aspect lock on, height is calculated automatically.
What is the maximum output?
To avoid memory exhaustion, output is limited to 36 megapixels and 16,384 px per side.
