GUIDE & TECHNICAL NOTES

How to use Screenshot Editor

Crop screenshots, blur sensitive regions, and add text and arrow annotations.

  1. 01Choose a screenshot.
  2. 02Set crop, blur, text, and arrow coordinates.
  3. 03Apply edits and download PNG or another format.

Crop before annotating

When cropping is enabled, blur, text, and arrow coordinates use the cropped canvas top-left as their origin. Set output bounds first, then place annotations.

Protecting sensitive details

Blur reduces readability, but completely covering highly sensitive data is safer. The Canvas output is flattened pixels and contains no editable layer to undo later.

Frequently asked questions

Are annotations retained as editable layers?

No. Every operation is flattened into one output image and cannot be undone after download.

Can crop, blur, text, and arrows be combined?

Yes. All enabled operations are applied in sequence.
